Definitely, Maybe
Definitely, Maybe
Definitely, Maybe is cute, kinda sweet but about 1/2 hour too long and rather sappy. Story opens with a newly divorced father picking up his daughter from school and encountering a school full of second graders who've just had an explicit sex education class. Daughter keeps saying "penis" and "vagina" out loud and asking questions about her Mom. This makes for a funny first five minutes.
So Dad gives up and agrees to tell his daughter all about his previous girlfriends and his ex-wife. But he makes up fake names and tells his daughter that she has to guess which one is her mother. Story is kinda cute but it just kind of runs on. Acting is decent.
This would make a good rental (once it comes out on DVD) for a rainy or snowy Saturday afternoon and when you've run out of good books to read.
