Lust, Caution

Lust, Caution

is the Chinese film about a young woman member of a resistance group during the occupation of China by Japan during WWII. The woman allows herself to be seduced by a Chinese traitor in order to get close to him and to get him into a vulnerable position where her colleagues can murder him.

This Chinese traitor is very brutal, very rough and way over sexed. So there is an incredible amount of sex in a very large variety of positions in this film....this fact is what earned this film some notoriety when it first came out.

Film is beautifully photographed and will be loved by voyeurs everywhere. Acting is excellent as are costumes. It is now available on DVD. It is long, about 2 1/2 hours but not boring at all. Though afterwards, like a Chinese meal, it is somewhat forgettable.
